recording ringtones
Yes, I just tried it and it worked as you'd expect...
1. I used the "Record Sound" app under the "Entertainment" icon on the desktop to record a sound. (I just said "This is a test") It was saved with the name "Memo" with an icon that looks like a bubble caption.
2. At this point I went into the File Manager, under "Sounds" and verified that the file was there and playable..
3. Then I went to the "Settings" icon on the desktop and picked "Profile". I chose "Edit Profile", and in the Ringtone section I picked "Memo" from the list..
4. To verify, I think called my phone from my land line and heard the "This is a test" message that I recorded in Step 1.
