LG VX-6100
potential driving mode software bug-does your do this?
If I just turn on driving mode and then turn it off, the phone reverts back to regular mode.
However, if I turn on driving mode and make or
receive calls with it, after I close the flip to end to call, and then turn off driving mode, the speakerphone stays on-so that when I make or receive calls subsequent to disengaging driving mode, the other party comes through the speakerphone until I turn it off the speakerphone by pressing up on the navigation pad.
This only happens when I make or receive calls in driving mode, not if I just turn it on and then off without having made or received calls while in driving mode.
This seems kind of counterintuitive--why would LG make the software to put the speaker on after you disengage driving mode, and only if you used driving mode while it was engaged for that matter? I would think that by disengaging driving mode, you are indicating that you no longer want the speaker to be on, but the phone leaves it on for you.
Does everyone else's 6100 do this too?
Yet my wife's vx4500, which has exactly the same drive mode features, DOES NOT exhibit this behavior and when you exit the "Driving Mode", on the 4500, the speakerphone ALWAYS reverts to OFF...
It is definitely a software bug in the 6100...
This kind of stuff is really bazaar, considering that it seems to take Verizon "close to forever" to "test" a phone... and yet these problems seem to slip by...
