silence the ring
I wanted to know if there is a button on the side of the phone that will silence the ring when the phone is closed. I am not looking to send the caller directly into voice mail, but rather to silence the ring after reading the caller ID readout. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you hit the lower volume side once, ringer or vibrate will be stopped... incoming call will continue until normally sent to VM.
