Programming help for VZW
VZW took ESN. I need help getting it to download PRL. Says "Cust. Solutions" and fails when dialing *228.

If you're using the 6255i on Verizon, I don't suppose there's any chance you can compare it's reception to that of the Motorola v265 or v710?

What do these numbers mean to a commoner such as myself? Is the 6255i slightly/significantly better or worse then the V710 in reception?

I got mine today, was able to get code and put in Verizons information, how did you get it to download the update roam list using *228?

just got mine off ebay NETFreez store, do you mind me asking what codes are needed for Verizon ? and how did u activiate yours with Verizon cust service ?

It gets a little better reception than the 3589i which is supposed to be as good as the v265/v710.

ebay there is one person selling it for $319.00 he claims it will work on verizon search ebay for nokia 6255i verizon!!!

I think you can just get it from one of the providers who actually sells it for $260...

The strange part of this is most VZW people that are buying this phone are getting it from Cellular South. They should be getting it from MidWest Wireless since there features are closer to the same as VZW. 😕

you will need to change the splock if any to a default of 6 zeros, then register and log on to my account on VZW.com go to manage accounts, and change phone esn to new esn. then after five minutes, press *228 and follow prompts to program phone, then dial it again to update PRL
