OK Button is Horrible

I think the phone is funny looking, but that's okay. I played with one just now and the worst thing button wise is the select/ok button in the middle of the arrows. You have to use the tip of your finger/thumb to press it without hitting arrows. And no, I don't have really big fingers either.

I have no problem with my LG VX4400's OK button, this one I do. This may be one of the biggest things keeping me from wanting this phone.

I've got normal sized fingers and while I admit some extra space, or a larger button would've been nice... I have only accidently hit an arrow (down) twice in the week I've been using the phone.

Okay, after a few days of playing with it (I haven't bought one yet, still thinking about it) I have found the OK/Select key to be a little better than first impressions this past Saturday. It is hard at first, but with the little bit of usage I am getting with it, its starting to get better.

I agree with this thread. Seriously miscalculated by Nokia when they designed that button. I don't understand why cellphone companies insist on making unergonomic products but they still sell. Maybe that's why. I won't be eliglibe to upgrade to this phone for awhile so hopefully something better comes out by that time.

I often times wonder WHO ARE THE IDIOTS that test products and how can they not foresee the problem before mass-production? You or I would've had the phone in our hands for 3 minutes and warned "them" that the OK button is too small. How can dozens and dozens of engineers and testers not notice such things?? Amazing.
