Nokia 6255i / 6256i
Nokia 6255i Alltel Status - June 23, 2005
On both Howard Forums and Alltel Users forums, it is reported that the phone can be ordered today from Alltel's telesales and it will be released on Thursday, June 23, 2005.
As for the information concerning MMS not working with USCC, I was the one who originally typed that post that was quoted on here. For what it's worth the USCC employee that I talked to said that there was a problem with the 6255i and USCC's MMS server. Many users have stated in the USCC forum at HowardForums that they have seen commercials on TV for the 6255i that say coming soon to US Cellular. Hopefully this is true.
As for verizon, I've heard that Nokia is developing the Nokia 6256i for them. Not sure on the specifics about it but Verizon HATES bluetooth.
