Verizon + 6255i... What works?
I know some of you use this combination... what works? what doesn't?
Most important to me: Can you use nationalaccess for internet access?
beyond that: I realize that vzw's getitnow crapware isn't there, so you can't use it, but I could care less. Obviously bluetooth works flawlessly, what about direct cable connections and infrared? Picture and sms messaging?
Thanks!

ok what dosent work so far is Verizon Wap though you can use a public port for it, GIN, and MMS (PIC AND VID MESSAGING) other than that I'm not sure but i believe everything else is fine.

I have an old laptop that has an infared port, but it also only has windows 98. the nokia software will not install on win98
---My Alternative---
I downloaded an older version of the software even though it doesn't say it supports my phone model.
-I used the Nokia phone browser feature through the infared port and i'm able to browse the phones memory and folders.
-I simply Drag and drop mp3's, animated gifs, jpegs, AAC's, or any supported file to the folders and that's it.

how do you get a 6255i phone activated on Verizon network? Are they even releasing this phone?
...
It's not to hard first you need a unlocked phone in other words don't get a Metro PCS phone. Then you simply call Verizon costumer service and ask to activate a phone but this is where it gets tricky, they do not offer this phone so therefore they will not have it on their system. You will have to lie to them and tell them it is another Nokia and will have to get lucky enough to force the phone into their system.

You can activate any phone you want no questions asked after you register for my account on their site. I have tested it by entering an esn from a phone on ebay.

...
