Nokia 6255i / 6256i
6256i contact list limit - can someone please verify?
Can someone give a definitive answer? This is a major factor for me.
Thanks

typically its about 500, but with multiple enties per name it could be less, it is shared memory. Each contact can hold 5 or more items in it
Not correct. It will hold 500 contacts, regardless of how many numbers. Believe me, I spent hours with it, talking to a Nokia tech. I added/subtracted to my Outlook, and every time I synched, it took 500 contacts.
It's unreal the amount of misinformation on these boards.

Im just wondering do u actually have over 500 people 2 put on the phone? I dont even call that many people I dont even think I have 100 and I still dont call every1. Anyway I guess its just how it is..Thats 2 bad they mis-inform us..Well Good Luck..I hope the phone is good otherwise..I dont care about how many contacts I can put on I care about the reception being good etc. Good Luck!
Yes - I have over 1000 contacts in Outlook, and the synchronization stopped exactly at 500 every time. The phone indicated 0% memory free (for contacts).

Thanks - it's looking more and more like I need a PDA phone. Maybe the Moto Q, will have to see how big the keys are.
