Nokia 6255i / 6256i
Display Screen Disappoints!
Is anyone else disappointed by the color quality on the display screen of the 6256i? I was expecting much better resolution and quality.
I just recieved my phone last night and am still debating on whether or not to keep it. So if you have issues with the quality of the display, please tell me how you "overcame" your disappointment. If that makes sense!

I overcame my somewhat dissapointment on the fact that it has FULL bluetooth, Nokia UI reception and battery life.
Every time I pull the phone out when I'm near people, I always get asked what phone it is and they can't believe it is a Nokia flip phone because there are like no Nokia flips other than the GSM 6101/6102.

I'm so torn about the phone. I have been waiting for a Nokia flip phone for 3 years! I don't understand why the quality of LG and Motorola displays rival that of a TV screen, while the quality of the Nokia disply rivals an OLD computer screen. âšī¸
One of the other things I don't like about the phone is the inability to play mp3's as ringtones. I know there is a fix to this, and I've even gone to the various sites recommended for the fix, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet.

I would really like these instructions as well. I have read about purchasing a USB wire and doing a hack that way, is this the only way?

I got over my 'disappointment' by not being disappointed in the first place. The screen is average, no biggie either way.
I guess whatever quibbles I have with the phone went away due to the great reception and call clarity. Which is what its really all about.
Maybe if it was an EVDO phone an' I was gonna watch TV on it, I'd feel different.

the only screen display issue i have is the fact that on the mini screen i have a pic of my neice, but all you can see is verizon wireless. thats really annoying. ill get over it but it would be great if it wasnt there to begin with.. any ideas?????
