I am disappointed with the plans

😡
What was T-Mobile thinking? 1500 minutes is the best they have in terms of voice plans? Yeah, I get the unlimited Internet and unlimited HotSpot, which is very cool. But the people that are going to shell out $500+ for this device are SERIOUS users--users who are I would believe are certainly past 1500 minutes per month.

I am hoping that when I talk to another T-Mobile rep tomorrow, I'll get a better answer like "Yes, you can do the normal a la carte" plans (like the Get More Max) on this device as well. If these two plans are all they will honor on this device, they've just missed the mark.

Now I am sure that the 1000 minute and 1500 minute plans will fit some people--maybe even a lot of them. But I have to imagine that they'd sell lots more with the ability to put on any of the other plans as well. I'd pay the extra $40/mo for unlimited Internet and HotSpot if I could have my 2500 minutes as well (I already use over 2300 minutes on a regular monthly basis).

Someone PLEASE tell me this is just a mistake and that I can put normal plans on this device as well. PLEASE?

😁
Yay! I talked to two T-Mobile reps this morning and BOTH of them say that you most certainly CAN put the HP on ANY plan T-Mobile offers--the two plans shown are just the "recommended" plans, but you can do it any way you want.

So now my only issue is that the T-Mobile Customer Care night shift staff are definitely not working with full picnic baskets. But I can live with that.

Yay! I can have my wonderful device after all! I'm so happy!

I have a buddy who works for T-Mobile. He already has one of the phones on hold for me, but told me to wait until tomorrow before I get it. I guess T-Mobile will be coming out with a new schloo of plans for it tomorrow. He doesn't know what the plans will hav in them but advised me to wait until then.

So... Have a little patience. Maybe they will be coming to their senses.

I use about 2300 minutes or so a month, so my deciding factor on whether or not I get this phone/pda will be on whether or not they can accomodate my minutes without charging an arm and a leg for the airtime.
