I believe this document is legit, but I just got off the phone with Motorola and they said they are planning to release it January 2005. Plus most sales people at Verizon have never even heard of this phone. Can anyone explain what is going on with these two companies? Also if anyone else had any other credible info on the release date, please post it!!!

The document is legit. Ignore what Motorola says because if you call them 10 times, you will likely get 10 unique answers. But, Motorola has heavily promoted this phone on hellomoto.com and on the radio (at least in Chicago).
Its a solid bet the phone will be out in time for the holidays and most likely on November 5. There are plenty at Verizon who know about this phone.
