I have the 6600 on verizon network...I have tried to work with Verizon for 4 days on this and here is the mystery issue.

I am on the pay as you go EDO, because I am traveling and will probably never use the service and under this plan they charge per minute...problem is with #777 string there is no disconnect option, so I set up my own connections like my Audiovox Thera with #19788 for express network and #762 for quick2net and then there is a disconnect...every 24 hours I get a text message saying "Your device settings were changed succesfully" then my connections get wiped on the pocket pc...if you try and readd those connections they say they are there but not visable in the connections screen, so you cannot chose a connection.

Sorry for my possibly not understanding your question but are you just asking how to disconnect the internet (#777)? If so, you can just hold down the red phone button (at the bottom of the device) for about 5 seconds. I thought there was only the #777 now?

Pocket outlook is setup to auto call the network and disconnect...because the disconnect button has been disabled for the #777 string...I have found a workaround

I would suggest going on the 44.00 unlimited plan. The pay as you go is very dangerous as this phone is designed to constantly be connected to the network and wireless sync. If you are not on top of your connection and miss one time to disconnect it may add up to the 44.00 in one shot. The 44.00 a month is a pain I agree but once they come out with software to use this phone to connect your laptop or computer to the internet I will disable my DSL and save 35 a month.....net charge of 9 bucks or so a month. Just my 2 cents.
