yes this is the BT fix as a rom upgrade. follow the instructions to the letter.
it is best to do a hard reboot before upgrading and do not do a restore of data but reinstall all of your apps

the instructions say to do a soft reset, however, according to what you have said, I should do a hard reboot instead? any other advice? Thanks

before you do the update do a hard reboot to remove any updates you may have installed and other software that changed registry and ext rom

I am not sure if others have experience a problem with the update, but when I was performing the update, the phone frooze and I lost the operating system. The phone is fried. Expecting a new one in the mail in a day or so.

I have problems witrh the device not ringing after you establish a connection to the net and after logging all the way off and close the explore. The phone's ringing feature no longer works. You have to remove the battery and put it back for the phone to be able to ring again. Will this fix the problem?
