My Review Update - FUGGETTABOUTIT ....And The Answer For Those Complaining About No Voice Capability
Returned the phone after 4 days and accepted a new replacement. Turns out the original one was defective and the volume issues remain though not quite as bad as that 1st unit. Call transfer from the Bluetooth headset does work properly now. Audiovox tech support still claims there's a software fix for volume issues coming soon, but still no ETA. I was also told that the # of volume complaints with the Verizon version of the phone outweigh those of the Sprint by a very wide margin. One area volume is not an issue is using the supplied stereo headset with Windows Media player, actually louder and clearer than my old i700. I rarely use the phone for cruising the net, so WiFi is no big deal. Interestingly enough, the GSM version (the SX66) comes with WiFi built in, but no camera.
For those complaining about no voice capability:
I've since downloaded and installed MS Voice Command, available at

Superior in every way to the Voice Signal app that comes with the Samsung i700/730's. Makes it a whole new phone and easier to use than a Treo 650. OK, it's $39.95 after the 5 day trial, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Something every Pocket PC phone out there running Windows Mobile 2003 should have and an addition I cannot recommend strongly enough. For example, press the button (You designate) and say "What's My Battery Life", VC's voice IMMEDIATELY responds "The Battery Level is (whatever)%". Or you can say "Dial (number)", it responds back reciting the # and then you just say "Yes"....or say "Call (any name in your Contacts list)".....or say "Start IE (or ANY application for that matter) and presto, the app loads...or say "Play (Song name or Artist)", Presto again! loads Windows Media Player and plays your song! It almost always understands you. Amazing actually. No training required! All 3 other PockePC phone owners I know to whom I've demostrated this to so far have all downloaded it 1st chance they got.
A note to those considering a Treo 650 as I was: Although there is Voice software available for the Treo, you still have to completely train it to do everything including for every contact in your address book.
