Getting MP3's to your V551 without being charged...
Once you get an MP3 from the Walmart site or any other site, where on the Cingular page do you paste the URL to upload to your phone to get it to your phone for free? Or is there a different way to get these to your phone for free?

So let me make sure I get this right -- I need to buy the software, and the "special" motorola data cable, right? Are there cheaper ways/non-brand cables?

You don't NEED to get the software or the cable. You can download it over the Wireless Internet feature of the v551. I have used the 'GoTo URL' funtion to type in the URL straight to the MP3 on my personal webspace.
But you WILL be charged for the data transferred. If you don't have a media plan the PayPerUse rate is 1 cent/kilobyte transferred rounded up to a whole kilobyte. Or you can sign up for a data plan which would make it cheaper per kilobyte.
Breakeven point is around $2.99. Around 500kilobyte/$2.99 for the MediaNet package or 299kilobyte/$2.99 on the PayPerUse.
