do you have one of those? if so how does it work for you? I've heard that the one that's bigger and about $100 works better and I've also heard that you cannot use voice dialing with a BT earpiece and the V551, anyone know anything about those issues?

I was just setting my 810 up for voice dialing with my newly acquired V551 a few minutes ago. Short press on headset button, say name, give it a few seconds and it dials. When you enter names in phonebook make sure you save to phone, not sim, or you won't get a voice record option in menu. Seems you have to get your timing down by watching outer lcd after you press button on headset. It will flash "say name" about a second after you press the button. If you say the name too quick after button press, the phone won't be ready for it. I entered a random 800# and made a voic...

I made the mistake of purchasing a Plantronics M2500. The battery life was horrible, the device was uncomfortable and the controls were hard to find. I like my Jabra BT250 much, much better.

I have the V551 and have tried both the Moto HS810 and the Jabra BT250 headsets. From what I have been told, the people on the other end of the call preferred the sound of the Jabra to the Moto, hands down. Also, my personal preference is the secure feeling I have with the Jabra vs. the Moto on my ear. I can wear a wool hat pulled down over my ears (cold in NY) and easily place or answer a call - the unit is not falling off. I regularly use voice activated dialing with the Jabra - it works just fine with the V551. The Jabra is very easy to use, does not obstruct outside sounds to the ear it is worn over, and is more discrete looking than an over-the-ear unit. It also has longer talk and standby times than the Motos. After trying both types f...

I agree with everything that was just said. I also hav both the Moto & the Jabra Headsets. The only benefit I've found to the Moto is the distance that I can be from the actual phone. But honestly, the phone is usually on me, or right next to me, so it's not that big a deal. The Moto has a slightly better range. But we're only talking a few feet.

Were you able to get the BT250's extended features to work with the V551? When I press and hold the "telephone" button for 2 seconds, the device turns off. I paired the headset with my V551 using the extended settings instructions (basically hold down the "telephone" and "volume up" buttons when powering on the BT250.
