Can you use the speakerphone with phone closed?

Hi,

Someone says yes to this for the V180 - but now I think I want the V551 instead.

I am looking for a phone which can be used as a speaker phone while it is in the closed position. If you have this phone and have actually done this can you tell me?

yes, you have to answer the phone while its open and activate the speaker phone, but after thats done you can close it and still talk.
