Mobile Phone Tools Error
The error reads:
"Error on line 6, position 18
A name was started with an invalid character"
I keep getting this error when I click on the "Pictures" folder of my phone. I am trying to get the pictures off of my phone to put them on my computer. I can get the songs up on my phone, but get the above message when trying to access the pictures folder. No pictures appear, but they are on my phone. I have the V551 and I am using mobile phone tools version 3.0. Does anyone know why I am getting this error? I am using Mobile Phone Tools 3.0 with the USB Cable. Thanks

It doesn't make much sense to me that you have problems only with pictures. Why don't you try without the cable?

I actually called Motorola today since I got no help through their customer service over the internet. The reason for the error is the pictures need to have a normal filename to them. After taking a picture and saving it, the phone gives it a filename, but mobile phone tools won't accept dashes, underscores, etc. So I had to rename all the pictures before it would let me in the folder to copy them.
