synching with ical on mac
I have a data cable and can upload from my phone to ical but can't download from computer to phone. Any ideas? Thanks.
BTW--had to return original phone because of non-existant battery life but no trouble synching. This has slightly better battery, but after downloading original calendar it overwrites everything on the phone when I try to synch. tx

That sucks. I have a mac too and haven't gotten a data cable yet. Hope someone here has a solution.

Krav, I bought the data cable and it worked on an ibook and imac, but then got a new ibook and it won't recognize the device. Don't know what's up. Good luck. You can get the data cable cheap on ebay.

Thanks, duncreavy. I'll do that. I've got a powerbook and would love to synch my addresses and calendar. You might want to try HowardForums to figure out why the new ibook won't recognize the device. The posters there are quite knowledgable.
