Does anyone know how a name can be voice stored in the phonebook? I have been trying to figure it out from the useless manual that comes with this phone. And does Cingular charge to utilize this option? As in is this an extra service?

It goes as follows:
1. Go to your phone book.
2. Select the number stored in "Phone" not in 'SIM."
3. Edit -> voice name-> record
4. Press and hold voice key.
5. Record your voice.
6. Release voice key.

Now it's time to test it.
1. Press the voice key and release.
2. Say the word.

It has nothing to do with Cingular. You are simply using a built-in function on your phone. Remember, it only recognizes your voice.
