Gprs and MMS settings for the V620
can anyone post the GPRS and MMS settings for this phone on Cingular?
I have searched this and a few other forums and found nothing. I am sure it's out there somewhere but so far no luck.
Yes, I could call Cingular but they typically don't have anything for phones not yet released. I often get the not sure let's try another model response which is haphazard.

I have Cingular and it didn't work with my new V620. I have the 64K Cingular Sim Card.

Thanks for posting these. I was able to activate the GPRS but, although I followed the instructions, was not successful with the MMS. Any ideas of what might have gone wrong? I tried it several times making sure I followed the instructions to the letter.
Also, when accessing the Internet (after setting up the GPRS according to your instructions -- and thank you, by the way -- I tried to download some ringers and I got a message saying that there was an error and that the ringers were not appropriate for my phone (I have the V620). Any ideas would be REALLY appreciated.

Hi.. sorry, I am not really a techie, but I just bought the v620 on eBay and not sure even HOW to begin entering those settings as provided by this post.
You know, when you set up a router or computer stuff, you have an interface on your computer… but for a cell phone, do I need to first hook it up to the computer using a USB cable first? My V620 that I got didn't come with the USB cable or Moto software, I can buy them separately on eBay.. do I need that?
*I will be going to Cingular as soon as I received my phone, is there a SPECIFIC SIM card I need to ask them for? I heard something about a 64K SIM doesn't work?
