Motorola V620

Here's an odd question. I have a ring light style set (techno) and have event lights on. If I turn OFF the flip open to answer feature under answering options, when I get a call, the inside screen flashes like crazy. It's impossible to tell who's calling and if you have a picture ID associated with the caller, you may get a seizure trying to focus on the picture with all the flashing.

I want to keep the ring lights on the outside shell on but I want to turn off the flashing on the inside when I flip the phone open.

Am I making sense? Any ideas.

Also, is there a way to automatically have the phone set to vibrate when I put it to charge or does it have to default to Loud. That's terribly annoying.
