quick notes in chinese

I just recieved my v600i and i noticed under messages that my QUICK NOTES are in chinese. I changed the language on the phone to english but it did not work. Am i missing out on information or something or does the QUICK NOTES not really matter. I hope im making sense. Thankyou.
