Motorola V620
speaker seems to be in "silent" mode, but not muted
er, um, well....... I've inherited a used V620 from a friend of the wife and while I like the phone in general..... the normal speaker in hand-held mode doesn't seem to work properly. With a combo earbud/mic inserted, it works fine. and in full speakerphone mode it works fine.
However, in normal receiver mode I cannot hear audio. Is there a secret setting to enable the speaker portion again? I've searched and searched, but cannot find the setting. Perhaps I am blind....
There was one time when it worked properly... I had unplugged the earbud while in a call. However, on the next call it went back to "normal"... no audible reception. yet I know the speaker does work. and I have not been able to repeat the unplugging the earbud trick to get it to work again. eeeep ! =(
