question on testing phase of s710a; & new on cingular: lg f9100
what is up with the release of lg f9100? where is the se s710a? if the lg phone was approved quicker because it was approved on 12/28 by fcc, and is already out, does it mean that there were kinks to work out on the s710a? i know the discussion mentioned possible testing problems, but i don't recall anyone talking about the types of problems that were encountered in testing the s710a. any word on potential problems during testing?

No one knows exactly what the problems with it were but I have heard two repetative rumors:
-Bluetooth issue
-addition of Mem Stick duo pro support
Who knows honestly, but apparently the phone was approved yesterday so we should be seeing it very soon.

I have heard that the release of the s710 might hamper sales of the precious razr that Cingular has sunk so much money into advertising. I heard they want to wait until sales die down a bit more on the razr, then launch a totally new ad campaign for the s710.
I have no idea if this is the truth, or just a rumor. It seems like it might be plausible.

I read that too. Can't remember where. The BT thing doesn't make sense to me because the phone is based on the S700i and SE phones have always had bluetooth. Doesn't mean it's not true however. Who knows.

As far as the LG F9100 goes, I really don't think it's going to hamper sales of the s710. They are completely different types of phones being sold to customers with completely different needs/interests.

They are doing a bit of adverising with the Z500. They had a display next to the register. I saw this when I went to ask the question that is on everybodies mind . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . WHAT IS THE MATRIX?
