how's that swivel?
How does the swivel action work on this phone? Can you do it with one hand pretty easily?

I was actually an att wireless rep. before 11/15 and when we had our kick off meeting for cingular we got to see all of the new phones. The swivel action is pretty simple. You can either swivel counterclockwise or clockwise and go 180 degrees. this phone does not completely do a 360. What ever way you open it you must close it the same way. and yes you can open it with one hand.

Well then yours must be defective because my friend has an S700i and hers is 360 degrees.

I know the s700i is basically the same phone as the s710 and it only swivels 180 degrees.

yeah, it will swivel 180 clockwise or 180 counter-clockwise. Just not a full circle going one direction.
