With the S710a and the HCB-300 bluetooth car piece, is there anything else I need/should get to make my car fully bluethooth friendly?
Thanks!

The HBC-300 kit includes everything you need. But call Sony Ericsson first and find out if it will be compatible with your car first. My father bought a car kit, not the HBC-300, but the older one, it turns out he needed some modifications done so the car kit would work properly with his car. It later turned out and he found out from Sony Ericsson that the car kit isnt compatible with Honda's, but to be exact, it was only compatible with Volkswagens. The car kit does work though, but in turn, the AM frequency doesnt.

The only dumb question is the one that doesn't get asked.

But yes, when a call comes in your car stereo will be muted automatically and you'll be able to hear the person through your car speakers. There's a little microphone that gets mounted usually by the sun visor, unless you prefer it to be somewhere else.

I, also, appreciate the insight hero. Last question, does the microphone that gets mounted come with the HCB-300 or do I have to buy that separately?
Thanks!

Oh yeah, this is one of the best car kits out there right?

No problem, anytime.

And yes, the microphone does come with the car kit. Everything and anything needed to use the car kit comes with it.

As far as being the best, that could be just a matter of opinion. All I can say is that with my experience with Sony Ericsson, their products have never disappointed me. I've never personally used the HBC-300, but like I stated, my father does use their older car kit and it works really well. So I can only assume that this car kit, the HBC-300 would work the same as his if not better.

I hope this helps. Good luck. And if you happen to buy it and install it, let me know how everything goes. I may just buy one myself as well, but for now, my Bluetooth headset is all I need right now.
