I have been lurking here for a while and do not recall a comment on the manual being available. Still, I apologize if this is old news.
I noticed it at Amazon. It is an interesting read, in spite of its 97 pages, if you are going to purchase - one can sort of warm-up on the specifics.

I wouldnt say 100% official just yet. This manual has been around for a long time in the form of the S700i. Im waiting until the phone is out to consider anything 100%.

Does anyone know for certain what the hardware/software requirements are for the MS Duo and Pro Duo? Is it purely software? i.e., are the two sticks essentially the same from a hardware perspective? Or, do they have different pins, etc.
If they are the same hardware-wise, then I guess it isn't too far-fetched to hope for Pro Duo support in the future. But, if they are different hardware-wise, I have serious doubts that SE is going to rearchitecture the phone to accommodate Pro Duo.
Either way, I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll just buy two 128 cards, I guess.

It's not at all a hardware issue, it's strictly a software issue on the S710a's part.
Even if it was a hardware issue, if Cingular wanted Duo PRO support, SE would have done it.
I too am holding onto the hope that there will be Duo PRO support, it can only make this great phone even better 😁
