Usually when a phone is offered through a carrier it is alot cheaper. When a phone isn't, and it's unlocked, its generally more expensive. If T-Mobile were to offer the S700i, it wouldn't cost anyone $699.00. Plus, anyone who pays $699.00 for the S700i should be considered retarded. There are plenty of places to get it for cheap, very cheap. My friend bought hers for under $500.

Honestly I am not sure if you are referring to me or the user who started this thread. I usually never flame people, but when you have people just posting to be crude and insulting, it is frustrating.

Hey, it happens to the best of us. You can't expect everyone to get along and when you have 52 pages of 'conversation' things are bound to get out of hand from time to time. I've been guilty of it myself (i'm sure we all recall it).

Does it mean they are "loud mouth wussies" - I don't think so. But you don't need to egg them on - especially since I don't recall seeing your name contributing anything worthwhile into this forum (so far).

People getting pissed at one another is normal - and expected since we're all waiting for this damn phone to get released!

This is not a forum, it is a support group for s710 junkies. I for one hope all of the civil, well-mannered people will continue to post here after our phone is released.

LOL. Yeah, that sounds about right.

We'll post here for awhile i'm sure...at least long enough to find out that we all got our phones and then complain/praise the phone for *insert feature/bug here*.

LOL.
Speaking of Complaints/praise, one of the common complaints i see is about the "bulkieness" of the phone. Looking at the picture of the phone next to the hershey bar i have to wonder what hobbit is complaining about the size of this phone?

This site's review mentions the weight briefly saying " Everyone who picks up the S710a either remarks that it’s heavier or lighter than they expected. It is heavier because the phone is metal, not plastic, which gives it not only heft but a feeling of solid craftsmanship and durability. It seems lighter because like a good motorcycle, the phone has excellent balance. It sits comfortably in your hand thanks to a well curved shaped and careful distribution of weight."

The fact it is metal is cool and I think weight balance is more important than overall weight, y'know?

I dont find the size too bad, esp. since you can use it closed 99% of the time.

I dont know why people even say things like "csp". I agree that it is indeed "damn work jargon" that I dont think anyone really cares about outside the company.
