No offence but I hate when BMW owners refer to their car as a Bimmer - makes them sound condesending. I'm sure it's not intended, just the way I hear it.

Not to mention BMW recently won the award of lowest in initial quality of ANY european imported car.

It's just a nickname for the vehicle. Like chevy for chevrolet. The real problem is that most people say "beemer" when they mean "bimmer". A beemer is a bmw bike 🙂
