i've been recommending to everyone i know to use gmail. it doesnt seem like email is a hard thing to setup, but it is definately hard to do right, and gmail is just perfect. you've gotta try it before you can discredit it. and considering they can offset the price of a gig per person by advertisements (a computer scans emails for keywords then puts ads on the sidebar), they let you use POP3, so you can use your s710a or Outlook (express) for it. it is just a great service.
so yah, if you want any gmail, just hollar.
they let you use POP3, so you can use your s710a for it.
that was all it took to convince me that I need it.
All the gmail invites I have at the moment are posted there.
The reason for the 'invites' is because technically it is still in it's beta phase and this limits the number of users they have - so they can expand at a rate they control.
Since when does Hotmail give 2gb of space? I know they've upped their space but I believe it's only 250mb.
Since Gmail uses a java program for the interface you can actually use keyboard shortcuts as well...seems like a small thing but kinda handy when you use it a lot. Now, I don't use this for my MAIN e-mail since I have my own domain I have (relatively) unlimited space but the web account is pretty handy.

I've got "Hotmail plus" for $19.99/yr. That gives you the 2gb limit.
From what I can see of Gmail, I really like it. Considering its 1GB & FREE, I think I'll pass on paying the renewal fee on my hotmail account next time its due. 😁
(Thanks Joel!)
I tested out Gmail after I first got it - i sent attachment after attachment to it to fill up my space and was actually able to go OVER the 1gb. I think before I started getting bounced messages I was at 120% of capacity which is kinda neat. Once you are over the limit you can not send mail from the account though (that's what i have heard anyway).
if by chance you have any left I would love to have one - you can drop me an email, or if yu would like to do it another way please let me know.
