Hey, just curious...is the P910 really a brick? Compared to other PDA phones, not a regular phone....

The P910 isn't a brick at all. And from the very few PDA's and PDA Phones I've held, the P910 either felt the same size or smaller. I can get some pictures of my father's P910 next to my T637 and other objects to give you a general idea if you'd like.

Please do send those pics...after all my fuss about S710A...now I have a slight dilemma. I'm thinking with my schedule getting really busy, maybe I need a phone where I can load up my schedule and stuff to have on the road....
Then, I still want S710, but I have a K700 I just bought..it's no need in spending money if u don't have to...when u can get something that's going to serve mutliple purposes.
I'm thinking of maybe sending K700 back...hold on to Nokia 6620 under ATT contract, until S710 comes out, then migrate to CIngular...that I think sounds like a plan

It all depends on your exact needs. You say you'd like a phone that you can upload all of your stuff to have on the road. The stuff you need to upload into the phone, if it is just basic stuff, I'm sure that could be done with the S710. When it comes to basic scheduling and making basic tasks that needs to be done, the T637 can handle them as well as the P910. I'm sure your K700 would do it just as well as the P910, the S710 as well.

If it comes to heavy scheduling and tasking that you'd like to be done with ease, the P910 is a good choice.

But you also have to ask yourself, are your needs temporary or more or les...

I'm trying to hold back from pointing you in any specific direction considering I'm not too familiar with your exact needs and what they are.

The best thing you can do is ask yourself questions.

-What are my needs?

-Can my phone (K700) and/or the S710 handle my needs and can I get out of the phone what I need?

-How often do I need what I want out of the phone? Am I going to be using it's features every single day? Several times a week? Once a month? Once a year?

-How important are those specific features to my day to day lifestyle? Can I do without them?

-Can I do with my phone what I'd be able to do with the P910?

That's the best advice I can really offer, hopefully it helps a little bit at the least. You in a ...

Either way, I have alot of scheduling...every few months, it will be slow and then I am back traveling again...Feb. was a slow month, so that's why I have been home...I guess what makes P910 more appealing is that b/c with texting alot and scheduling, that Qwerty board and pen make it alot easier to do what I need to do.

What you might also want to consider is a cheap(er) PDA - perhaps w/ bluetooth and a bluetooth (S710) phone?

Yeah...I heard that I had to at some point, can't stay with ATT forever.
The problems I had with Cingular was echo in my phone calls(which the Cing. rep told me it had to with the phone I had(T637)), not receiving text messgs.(which is a BIG problem) and my voicemail had fell off of call forwarding somehow...and my calls wouldn't go into voicemail.

I know, I know... 🙂 Not to mention, why don't they fix closing the CC line at 9pm, but instead stay open 24 hrs. like ATT?
They picked up on the expensive a$$ service of ATT, so why don't they pick up on that "customer satisfaction when I have a problem, they fix it right away and i don't have to wait til the next business day'....cuz that's some real BS right now.
Also, pick up the pace on that "Your approx. wait time can be greater than 10 min." WTF

I call in to them every week when I have to fix a problem for a customer & its something that we on the sales level don't have access to. Usually I can be talking to someone within 5 mins or less. Its very rare that I get the "greater than 10 min" msg. I think last time was around Christmas.
