Everytime we call, they say they don't have a date yet, and seem annoyed. Like its my fault I won something a month ago and they can't deliver, yet the phone is shipping to stores as we speak.
Did anyone notice the TBD on the site for some reps? Its says under review.

they do the same to me, guess they get asked alot- but hey, the site says it depends on the release, and they still don't know. I hope they don't do like samsung and wait 4 months

Well they said it depends on the release date...and it's released...
Didn't someone state earlier that SE was planning on shipping them at the exact same time as the release phones?

I'm not holding my breath the we'll get the phones we won anytime soon. I'm in the plano call center and most of the times a phone has been won, I've forgotten about it until it is actually delivered.

I called the "Program Headquarters" # on the website (800-803-5602) and they said that the award phones have not yet shipped. The guy said he had no idea when they would. They're waiting for word from SE to ship them (whatever the heck that means). âšī¸

As for the AOL thing.... who knows... I really don't give a crap as long as they ship my phone to me (preferably in a timely fashion).
I would think that it would be more to SE's advantage if the hundreds of sales reps who won this thing nationwide were receiving their award phones around the launch date. Customers really do pay attention to the model phone that the sales rep personally uses. Its like an endorsement of sorts. SE will definately sell more of the phones if customers see us using them.

I'm with you on that one man.... We fulfilled our end of the bargain, so its time for them to fulfill theirs! It's torture to get to play with the dummy phone, and then start selling the real thing to others next week, when we don't have ours!

Not I... though after hearing you talk about that I've repeatedly checked the winners list in my market to make sure that I'm not one of them. I did see that the guy in the #9 spot has had his name removed for the last 2 days & it just says "under review - TBD" instead.

I'm getting pissed too. If they don't plan on shipping them for 2 weeks (just for example) then I wish that they'd just come out & tell us. Its just like the waiting game for Cingular to release it - nobody knows when!!! Just to have a date to look forward to would be nice.

This is driving me insane.....maybe when my store gets a couple in this week....I will "demo" one out until I get mine as an award......yeah!!!! That is a great idea....I advise all winners to do the same...if you can get away with it!!! đ

I work for an agent company & the guy who does the ordering for us probably isn't going to be ordering any of these any time real soon. I think he's biased against SE... another MotoFreak.... We had to practically beg him to order z500's, telling him about how much $$ we were missing out on b/c of the mad rush for the phone.
