how much you think i could start for a opening bid on ebay? it will cost me 385 for the phone after my 30% discount.
see i was thinking of trying this.
yall think it will sell for 600? or more?

i just wish i would get that email saying i can go buy my phone.
i was thinking if i can sell it for twice alittle more that i can buy me one and the blue tooth.an dthen still hav some money. left over.

That person that won that last ebay auction was a new bidder w/ no feedback - I give less than stellar odds that the transaction ACTUALLY happens.

Don't go trying to pork someone - i'd say just try to get retail for it.

People are leary of an opening bid of a high amount, even if they are willing to pay that much. Put a reserve of like $500 on it, a Buy It Now of $600, and an opening bid of $1.

Trust me. The first few bids will get it up over $100 anyway. People are more apt to bid if they *think* they are getting a deal.

I used to sell used laptops that my work had written off and I always started them at $1. I don't think i'd put the reserve quite that high...maybe more like $400 since even that nets you a profit and it still encourages them to bid since it's still a deal for them.
