Dummy to real phones?
this goes out to Disciple247365 or any other Cingular employees:
one store in town (out of like 6) just got their dummy s710, what's the usual wait from dummy to real phone? he said they are supposed to be shipped to the store on the 27th... anyone?

Usual wait is about a week I figure. It all depends on the person who is responsible for doing the ordering for their individual store... If they're on the ball, then the store might have it on the day of release or a day or two after. If they wait for a week & then order, then it might be 10-14 days from launch date. Just call the stores in your area.
Although we just rec'd the dummy yesterday, I know that my store won't have them on Monday. The guy who does the ordering for us is more interested in POS phones like the LG c1300 b/c he can have us give them away for free on 2yr contracts. We only got 4 razrs & the only reason he ordered them was b/c it was christmas. Haven't seen any since.... We had to talk him into ordering z5...

Also Depends on if a Particular Agent company wants to carry the phone..... We just started carrying the LG L1400 even though it's been out for quite a while. We got the Razr right away so Im hoping since this one is also a cingular exclusive that they will order it right away.....By the way... did you guys receive Like 4 dummy phones? I always get wayy to many!

if it is late to get to the store, can i just order it off the Cingular site on the day of release? will they have it the day it is supposed to come out?

its funny to me that every corprate store i talked to didnt have the dummy yet but a non corp store i go to has them.. that to me is kinda funny.

Yep, it should be up on the website tomorow. What time of day it is up is another question.

I think you should be able to, but I really do not know. I assume that the website will have it up tomorrow. If its not on the website tomorrow, then it should be up very soon.
