Some of the threads say that you can buy the s710 through telesales and say they have 380 phones in the warehouse... but i called the number and they still have no clue (at least for WA). What gives???

they arent looking. I noticed them available in the tools we have for both orange ordering systems and in the inventory checker. are you calling the att number to upgrade? they many not have them, but they are definatly are for telesales.

Ok... I called again and at first the guy said they dont have it and tried to sell me another phone. Then I pushed him some more and he finally found it. He said I couldnt buy it because I'm migrating my ATT account and not already a with Cingular. Does this make sense??? I dont trust anyones first answer anymore.

If you are migrating your att account you can get any one of the cingular phones. I would give it a try tomorrow (Monday) after it appears on the website and see if the prices are lower than what they were in the announcement. It should definately be in the migration tool for all cs reps tomorrow.

I called telesales also and they had no idea when the phone would be available for my area. I hear of all these new phones coming out soon like that new 2mp Panasonic. I've been holding off on buying a new phone since November. I also went to a corporate store in TN and they had no idea when it would be out, they said probably 2 or more weeks. I need this phone...NOW 😡
