Went to a few Cingular stores today and they have them in stock, only 1 or 2 in stock. The two stores I went to were very secretive about having them, but I held it in my hand and compared it to my GU87. I almost bought it except for the rep talked me out of buying the first batch of phones. He told me that the first few phones that come in always have problems and that I should wait two weeks. He actually talked me out of the sale! He said that the first phones always tend to have bugs in the software, citing the Treo 650, SE z500, and nokia 6320 - all great phones but stated that the first shipment of each were all returned. It's not like a first-year model car. Only the software will change. And, when it comes out, you can just reflash your phone. I can deal with a few bugs until sony gets around to releasing fixes. As long as it doesn't leave you stranded, I don't see what the big deal is.
