Trying to send an email with my phone, do you have to have email service through SBC yahoo, earthlink, or bellsouth, to be able to email with this phone ? I have my "mycingular" email account, but im not sure if this will work

I could send and receive email just fine. You have to setup the account in the phone with all the necessary info (incoming and outgoing mail servers, login/pass, etc).

Its different with the s710a from what i can tell. Its has three options for mail. SBC yahoo, Earhlink, Bellsouth. I dont see a manual config like on the t637
