So for people who have this phone and have used it for a few days, has it lived up to your expectations? Any deal breakers? What is the best /worst aspect of the phone?

Its exceeded my expectations. Its solid as hell. It feels like it was very well crafted. Screen is beautiful, Sound on the speakerphone FAR FAR exceeded what i hoped it would sound like, blows the motorola's out of the water.

Gripes..Cant use custom text message tones, and the micraphone placement isnt the greatest..gotta hold it off your cheek a bit.

I love it though. Its beautiful.

only postive things, no negative aspects...friendly use which is something we all know about sony. much improvments in signal term than the T616 (I previously had) 😁

I recently bought the moto mpx220 and the sony s710 blows it out of the water. It is built solid, like a Mercedes or a BMW. The sound camera and all other options are awesome. The only thing i have a beef with is mobitv. I guess its not ready to be used on this phone. Hopefully it will be.

Hey guys 🙂 I've waited for so long for this phone to come out- but the phone has definitely exceeded my expectations. (I just sent this long message but didn't go through ☚ī¸ But anyway, I will rewrite again). You can see that there are quite a few gripes... but at this point, I don't think I can find a better phone if you take out the blackberrys and treos which are just too wide and bulky for me...

Positives:
1. Screen - great and hires. One of the best I've seen. Bright and clear.
2. MP3 - no more ringtone purchases! I've used my 128MB MS to fill in with some music. Now I use them as ringers!
3. Email - SBCGlobal account - you can set it to automatically replicate every few hours. This feature is really useful for me personally.
