wtf is the remote controll for. What can you do with the phone as opposed to the mouse? Are there advantages or is it just another feature of our sweet phone.

You can control a powerpoint presentation and Media Player. It's useful for when you're watching a movie or have a playlist of music. It can be useful for a lot of people.

I think as long as the application is HID compatible (Human Interface Device), the phone should be able to control it. Not 100% sure though.

I'm pretty sure any bluetooth phone will control itunes.

A friend of mine had itunes set to stop playing anytime his phone was out of range and start when it came back in range. Kinda neat.
