it can play mp4, but most of my vids are in it already. for music videos, i'd hit peer to peer networks, kazaa, imesh, limewire, those usually are mp4.

Ok, the video size options on the phone are 176x144 and 128x96. When I convert some AVI files, which are 264x132, I get audio, but no video. I think it has to do with the resolution. Anything more than the phone can support (176x144) it won't like it.

Aww snap, I got it to work. In the "Settings" dialog box, click the "Image Processing" tab, make sure "Display Dimension" is checked, click "Setup", Click "User Defined" and set the size to 176x144 or 128x96. Now under the "Video Encoding" tab set the video codec to "ITU H.263". After that, convert the file and it works.

By the way, in my search for S710a media, I noticed on cingular.com they have a Star Wars section. I remembered I have this CD from about 6 years ago of Star Wars audio/video clips. So if any of you guys want A/V clips from Star Wars, let me know.
