there is that Audacity (sp) program that someone else posted that takes .mp3s down to ringtone size.

it's over at sourceforge.com, this i do know.

I use Super Mp3 recorder pro, works like a dream..the demo is easy to download from download.com, but you cant save what you do. You can purchase it..or there are ways around it. 😉
