off topic lol but someone posted the new hot phones SE is anouncing.. well for anyone at cingular they can look as cool as they want kuz we aint getting them for cingular.. remember the contract cingular has with nokia.. nokia is the soul candy bar phone provider.. so i would think a non corp store or 3rd party i guess.. that kinda sucks

Cingulr Dream is right about that contract, I read that myself as well. The reason those phones you stated have been released is because they were all released before that new policy was instated, as in Nokia being the soul provider of bar-style phones. If I manage to find the article where I read it I'll be sure to post it, I know posting info without anything to back it up with is a bad idea, so nobody has to take my word for it or anything.

Is this an agreement that was made just recently between Cingular and Nokia? I mean, what about the SE t616 and t637??? They're both bar-style, and the t637 is still available (although probably not for much longer)... 😕

if i remember correctly its a few months old.. i doubt its gone nto full affect yet given the fact cingular still has other candy bar phones.. when it's implamented it will be nokia or bust if your interested in a candy bar phone.. im still looking for the article but ive also been informed by cingular its self that this will be takeing affect..the 616,637 etc.. those were all there before the implamentation of this agreement, so those may be grandfather claused in or when the time comes all the candy bar phones cingular has may be removed
