Moto Headset
I heard of some problems earlier that the phone will not pair with a a moto bluetooth headset. Is this true? I'm getting my phone next week. Has anyone successfully paired a moto headset to the s710?

i was the one with that issue.. yea i got it paired my headset was just being wierd.. it wasnt going into pair mode..its all paired up and rocks i have the 810 i think it is

Yes, I successfully paired my S710a with a friend's Moto headset (the 820). Worked like a charm on the first try, but he's experienced using BT headsets and knew exactly how to do it so that probably helped.

Yeah, that's how it's done with all or most headsets. The headset has to find the phone, not the phone finding the headset.

i have had a customer who has had issues with the 810 headset disconnecting from the phone and not reconnecting. he had many issues with the phone and we replaced it for him. since replacing the phone he has not been back so i assume it works well.

How do you get your BT Headset to find the phone? I mean, you have to put the headset in pair mode which the phone has to find the headset itself and then it pairs with it. I've always had the phone find the headset not vice versa on my Razr and V600? Can you tell me how you did it? Cuz I'm getting my S710 next week.

i can't find my directions.. if i remember correctly u have to turn the bluetooth on with the phone first .. then all deppending on ur headset .. with the moto 810 u have the boom closed.. start to hold the mutitask button down , holding it for about 3 seconds then open the boom and the light will stay on.. after that u need to quickly go int othe phone already having there is better.. go to menu/connect/bluetooth/my devices - new devices hit add at the bottom.. it will prompt u to make sure the other device is on and will start the search..
