Anyone know?

Or how about using the phone on a bluetooth car kit, while using it as a mouse?

In the SE menu it's called Remote Control - allows you to take control of the mouse.

I don't think that bluetooth has the bandwidth to do both wireless modem and remote control.

I think there is probably a safety issue to be concerned with - using the phone in your car while using it as a mouse. The reason for the car kit is so you can keep your eyes on the road. But if you're using it as a mouse then you're not looking at the road.

You wouldn't be using it as a mouse in your car, but at home on your computer 😛 Also, you wouldn't be using it as a modem in your car, but again, in your home 😛

Who needs to use their slow bluetooth and phone connection at home when most likely they've got DSL or cable at home?

Besides - people put computers in cars all the time thesedays (silly kids). Not exactly smart to be using your phone for that while driving though.

"when most likely they've got DSL or cable at home" ... some may not. 😈

Ive never heard of people putting puters in their car though, but right off the bat that sounds like an idiotic thing to do. I agree with you, not a good idea, these people should be executed immediately!! 😈

What about college students sitting in their cars somewhere studying? Plug the laptop into the cigarette lighter, connect to the net, etc.

To name a few. I can understand wanting to have all your mp3s in your car, but who needs windows in their car?

I'd much rather use this for my mp3s.

there is more than enough bandwidth.

EDGE is 90kbps (in my experience), hell, even at the 2XX max, bluetooth has a megabit to work with.

i dont have my lappy with me right now, so i cant be certain, but as long as they are the same device, it should work.

bluetooth has more than enough bandwith for both, i havnt tried it, but i am about 99% confident it will work. i'd have to try it to be certain, and i dont have my lappy with me.
