Battery

Just curious... is the battery the same that is in the z500/t237/t226 phones, or the t616/t637? Or is it something that is totally new?

No. Completely different. The only other model to utilize this battery that I'm aware of is the z600, which I don't think has been supported in America.

I was wondering about it b/c I have a few old BST-30 batteries (I think that's the model #) that are used in the z500/t226/t237 series phones. I thought it would be cool to have an extra battery, since battery life is one of the things people have complained about. SE is selling them for $57 on their website, but I'm sure I could get them cheaper elsewhere. I did notice someone on ebay selling them for less than $10 w/ the buy it now feature. Then I noticed that that guy is in Hong Kong (where I think there are no copyright laws, so they can make it look like OEM even though it is...
