hey everyone.

can anyone give me their views on wether the S710a or the S700i is better? im wanting one of these two phones for the mp3 mainly but i do also want video recording and playback, camera, bluetooth, gameing, etc.

the only real thing that's setting them apart in my head is that i hear the S700i doesnt have a speakerphone and the S710a does. this would be handy as i would like to view videos and listen to music with a group of friends and we couldnt all wear the given headset. is the volume through the normal speaker of the S700i good enough to do this with reasonably volume or is it as quiet as the nokia 7600 where you have to put the phone to your head to hear it??

(Oh yeah and is a speakerphone and a loudspeaker the same thing?).

my last problem is that i live in England. can anyone tell me if i can get the S710a in the UK yet and will it work. i hear people talking about coverage earas but im not big on phone technology and am not really sure wether it means it will work in the UK or not.

If the S710a will work in the UK is it really worth the wait just for the speakerphone and EDGE or should i just get the S700i which looks awsume anyway?

thanks if anyone can help

They both have speakerphone.

If you plan on travelling to the UK I strongly recommend getting the S700i.

The differences between the two phones are that the S700i has FM Radio instead of EDGE (works with Cingular only). And it uses the 900mhz band instead of 850mhz (works with Cingular only). Having the 900mhz band would be very helpful if you're planning to use this phone overseas.

Although, having the 850mhz band would be very helpful using it here in the US if you're with Cingular. Hope this helps.
