I haven't been a huge fan of the Sony point & shoot digital cameras as of late - they seemed to have gotten a little cheap with their lenses. Their higher end stuff is really nice though.
It has gotten pretty good reviews on CNET which is *usually* a reliable source for reviews. So if you aren't an amateur photographer it would probably be fine while if you like to take higher end, artistic photos i'd recommend going with a higher-end Sony (since you're using Train&Gain cards you'll have to go w/ Sony).
If, however, you're just looking for a camera - i've been really impressed with Canon lately for their point & shoot stuff.
