problem
I edited one of my themes and when i resent it to my phone it doesnt display the background of any theme except the cingular ones now....the title bars and menu bars are still the ones i made, but thats all i get with a black background...any clues?

I've noticed that problem as well, and not only with Themes I make myself, but also themes I download from sites and the themes that came with the phone. 😕

This very thing happened to me yesterday afternoon. I freaked out. I set the theme to one of the factory installed ones, then I power cycled the phone. Once the power came back up I was able to switch to the created/downloaded themes & they worked perfectly again.
I have no idea what causes this. Maybe a bug? Its not a big deal to me as long as it doesn't happen often & it is easily fixable.

Im sure thats all it is, is a bug and will probably be addressed in upcoming firmware updates. It has happened to me too often, and like you said, it is easily fixable.
Hey Adam, when you turn your phone off and on? Does it take a little bit to power off and back on when you press the button?
When I press my button to turn it off or on, either on, there's like a 5+ delay. It hasnt been more than 10 secs though.

I get little to no delay when powering off (3 secs max, if that). When powering on, I get sometimes as much as 5 or 6 secs.
Are you guys experiencing the wallpaper bug at random? The one time I experienced it, I was playing with the phone, repeatedly cycling to different themes.

I've experienced it randomly as well. It's probably happened a total of 3 times, and I cahnge and play around with different themes very frequently. It would never fix itself until I would power cycle the phone though.

i have had the same black background when i fuss with the wallpapers to much..
i also get a constant 4 or 5 second delay when i power the phone on.. its hella slow kind weird..

I think we've realized a few of the reasons this phone may have been delayed, dontcha think?

If these are the reason the phone was delayed, why didn the looooooong delay correct these problems? I dont believe any of these things to be the reason for the delay.
