Using the phone in the Air!

Hey guys, I was wondering, I'm probably gonna get yelled at for this question....but I was wondering if we can watch and listen to music on our phones while we are on the airplane??? I'm leaving town today...

The only way to use it is if you can turn just the phone off without powering the whole device down. I know my 6620 had an airplane profile or mode, just glanced through the menu on the s710 and didn't see anything like that but i've only been using it a couple days

I listened to mp3s. I'll bet more than half of the people on a normal aircraft never bother to turn their phones off anyway.
